Socinga Mining Hub — Operations Platform
Designed and built a dedicated digital hub for Socinga Africa's mining operations division, serving institutional investors and operational stakeholders.

The Brief
The Socinga Mining Hub required a dedicated platform separate from the corporate group site — a focused digital property for the mining operations division that could speak directly to mining industry stakeholders, investors, and regulatory audiences.
I was engaged to architect the platform, define the content structure, and deliver a finished product that could stand alone as a credible mining industry digital presence while remaining visually coherent with the parent group platform.
The engagement was concurrent with the main Socinga Africa platform, requiring careful coordination of the two design systems and content hierarchies.
The Approach
How I approached this engagement.
Audience Segmentation
I mapped three primary audiences — institutional investors, operational partners, and regulatory bodies — and designed a content architecture that served each without compromise.
Industry-Specific Positioning
Mining is a sector with specific credibility signals. I structured the platform around proven reserves, operational capacity, safety records, and regulatory compliance — the language institutional buyers speak.
Visual Coherence
I adapted the Socinga group visual system for a mining context, introducing industrial texture and weight while maintaining the gold-and-navy authority system.
Technical Architecture
Built on the same Next.js and Cloudflare infrastructure as the parent platform, with shared CMS configuration and a separate deployment pipeline.
Performance
All assets served via Cloudflare R2 with appropriate cache headers. Sub-second load times globally.
